I went to costco today - because eggs are only available in the morning - they were 21.49 for 5 doz. A few months ago they were $11.79 for the same amount. The 2 doz that used to be $2,79 are now $8.59. If they weren't such a complete protein I would consider not eating them very often. But I don't eat a lot of meat so it is a good alternative ( Eggs are generally unfertilized so it is not like you are killing an animal to eat it).

My milk went up in price as well... but then I choose the organic with Omega 3 one now.
