It's a mix between the English comedy show 8 Out of 10 Cats and the English mathematics and spelling competition show Countdown. It's really funny but you shouldn't watch it if you don't like inappropriate jokes at times.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Been sick... yech...

The Expanse has been called the greatest Science Fiction show of all time. I have to agree. It's about the what happens to humans when we're on the cusp of becoming a muti-system species. It has elements from other great sci-fi's we've seen before and love, but it's done so well it's not fan service. The story morphs as it goes along and it almost shifts genres--it's really incredible story telling. The actors/characters are perhaps my favorite parts--completely against type. If you have Amazon Prime watch the first couple of episodes and see if you like it.
