i probably like the cartoons with "adult" humor less... I don't like all cartoons but i will watch most. Never really thought about the impact/affect cartoons have on people in other countries. Probably like when we watch Japanese anime and there is cultural that we don't understand.

Well to most I guess they just don't understand, like how if you're in a country that doesn't have
English as their first language they don't get slang, bc dictionaries don't explain those, teachers
don't explain those so it's just a big question mark for most.

I really enjoy watching cartoons. My students are 10 and are pretty sure that they are too mature for cartoons, but those that still watch really enjoy the conversations we have about them. XD

I like cartoons because I find some more "mature" shows too intense or it has content that I don't want to watch/hear about. Also, if I watch things with extreme violence or things that are scary/traumatic, I will have nightmares. Generally, my husband and I stick to shows about home improvement, cooking, how things are made, or history. And cartoons of course!

After I get off work, I really don't feel like watching something dramatic or something that I have to think a lot about. My brain is fried by 5pm! =P

Oh, when I say adult humour, I don't mean like sexual stuff. I just mean that they have more sardonic jokes, or whatever that children might not understand. It's like when you watch an old Disney movie and find a hundred new jokes. xD

It's a cartoon about a kid who learns about his gem powers and stuff.
Actually I'm terrible at describing things. ._.
Can't guarantee that you'll like it right away though, bc I got hooked around 14 episodes I think,
CN doesn't really show it by order so it took a long time before I got to watch episodes that really hit me.
