Anyway so the insurance guy was able to find me a bundled insurance and the homeowners end he found for me is not only better than what I have, but $53/month CHEAPER
Plus the whole car insurance being cheaper than what I grabbed to get the car
Which the place i got the car insurance? They remembered me and while they're not too happy about the one I got through them being canceled, they're also really fucking happy because boy that was not gonna be cheap through them. More the latter because hoo the stuff they were able to find was painfully expensive

I really don't like when Windlyn is down, so I'm motivated to get back to normal ASAP. I saw the portal problem last night before I went to bed and figured it'd keep until morning. I thought everything was working when I logged out, but I keep tabs in a Windlyn group in my browser so I rarely see the portal page normally.

Anyway back on Wednesday the one vp had his retirement party. I ended up being the first to show up after the two HR people who organized it cuz i came straight from work and the majority who showed live in town. Which ended up being a good thing cuz they had to change out the custom sprayer (print was flaking off) and the guy had only brought a regular wrench, so the fact that I still had my work bag in the car meant my allen wrenches were on hand, which they much appreciated. Morning supervisor this morning told me that he heard I was the "savior of the party" with that
I don't think it was that big of a deal???

Very nice, Kit to the rescue! I think less people are prepared for emergencies ... I carry a tool kit in my car & a battery charger just in case, but not a lot of people do. .. so I think that is why they were pleasantly surprised you had your tool kit on hand... and always a plus if the management above notices!

Tools are required for your printer job stuff? Do they provide them for you or do you have them on your own volition?

We have to provide our own
Not even the mechanics are exempt from that, and they have to get entire tool chests. It does allow them to decorate them as they like tho
