That's what I was thinking (night cooler). Any idea what the air temperature is at the various work stations? There must be a labor standard for such things. A violation is dangerous--by law.

There is a thermometer inside that we can look at, but it does not read humidity at all
By looking at it, generally inside and outside are about the same, but the humidity is the killer
It's known that it's much worse when up by the machines themselves, and the one line, which is separate from the others, feels about ten degrees cooler than the rest

More importantly I'm watching the Tumblr Sexyman Contest. We've got two brackets running neck and neck at the moment, and they end in bit under eight hours

Tenna got through that round, due to a last second spurt of votes. People were hoping for a tie at the end because the rules are a tie has the two kiss and move on together, a different bracket managed that one
Now we're in the semifinals and he's against Gomez and a third guy, and is holding at half the votes, with a third to Gomez, and the rest to the third guy
James v Senshi is neck and neck, Senshi is just in the lead
And the third bracket has a larger gap between the two, with over a day left

Characters, mostly. Round 1 had Scrub Daddy, and the Sexywoman polls earlier in the year had Scrub Mommy, so literal scrub brushes, which meant both got submitted enough times to qualify

Also the Canadian fires are blowing the smoke down here so the sky is yellow

The fires up there seem to be worse than usual. Yellow skies make the heat seems hotter...

Yeah, the Minnesota fires merged with the Canadian ones, so we're getting that smoke now
Took a pic of everything being yellow like a movie representing that the setting is Mexico at work when the AQI was 141. Half an hour ago i grabbed a screenie of it being 339, but right now it's dropping
Over on discord, someone who lives about six hours away is dealing with it too, it's kinda fascinating seeing how different things are between us despite being relatively close together (opposite sides of the state)

Car's fine. Last month had to pick my nieces up off the bus for a week, and since my car doesn't have that weird wubbing problem with open windows, they got to ride with them down, which they loved to the point of asking to keep them down every day. Picking them up at their house and taking them to my parents
