I saw on the news the Northeast is going to get rain ... maybe that will help extinguish the fires (hope).

Massive downpour, my friend n I were at Walmart when it hit. Adults in the foyer-like areas waiting for it to die down, kids outside having fun. A warm rain, too

I remember short rain storms when it was really really hot out and watching the steam rise from the hardscape when it stopped. Soooo humid that you can see it...

I saw some new articles about flooding downstate (Manhattan). Guessing it's the same storm you're getting?

Something exhilarating about summer storms, maybe the warm rain or the light show?
