At least you have the kids to play with! Wait...how does the lock down work if you both have custody?

We just do it as normal. I can't keep the kids because there's not enough room and I work nights. My ex wife is a nurse on a coronary care unit (so she deals with people who have just had heart attacks) but my second oldest daughter and her boyfriend watch the younger kids while she's at work.

I'm glad you're doing well, Akuyi.

That's rough, Shamus

Lemon: I have a monthly subscription for the subtrain which I am still paying. And I'm too lazy to cook so I graciously support local takeaway restaurants now. All in all, my spending didn't change much I guess. XD

Sham: Yeah I can picture this being hell for extroverts.

I'm introverted and it's been difficult for me too. I haven't seen my friends for weeks now. It was hard not being able to visit my mum on Mother's Day last Sunday. :( (Winners across the pond do not panic - our Mother's Day is earlier in the year).

Maybe they will give you a retro pass Akuyi since you can't travel even if you wanted to.

Facetime, skype help when you can't be with a person in person, but still not the same. Our Mother's day is coming in a month and a half, I really hope it will be over by then!

Well technically our trains are still running for those who have urgent things to do, so I don't think I'll be reimbursed. The public transport companies are likely already making a petty big loss right now anyway.

now they are closing walking trails and even some beaches because people aren't staying far enough apart! Does it matter if people aren't coughing or sneezing!?!?

You can have the virus without having symptoms and carry it to others who may have a less strong immune system.

Npixelz sounds liek they are talking like tweety bird from the cartoon!

Akuyi: A good reminder why it is important to change & wash our clothes when we have been out in public, shower & wash our hair every night, not touch our face without clean hands and wash our hands after various contacts with people or outside. One of the reasons why those working in the medical field should also wash their work clothes separate from the regular was as well in case of contact with deadly strains of any virus.
Good hygiene practices helps us stay the spread!
