The Fairy Garden (1)

(It is, in fact, a community made story. In order to gain interest in this thread again, I am starting a story where I post a paragraph and someone post a paragraph to continue the story. But now that I think about it, maybe I can create a story thread. I'll still do the story thing here, but every time I do a story from now on, I'll post it in one place, then copy and paste it into the story thread. Anyways, the story. That was just a set of rules for the story, now into the first paragraph).

It was in this world that our story began...
Once upon a time, in a land filled with magic, and a wide assortment of magical creatures and practices, a human girl, by the name of Orianna, was born with extraordinary magical abilities. This intrigued magic users and one such man, a wizard by the name of Ruhan, was able to test her and found that mixed in her human dna, was the blood and dna of a fairy. He took her under his wing and trained her in the magic of both wizards and fairies alike. Fast forward to her 17th birthday and he brings her to an enchanted forest filled with the fair folk themselves. She had never actually met a fairy before because they were very secretive and mistrustful of wizards. However these fairies were good friends with Ruhan so nothing would go wrong. Or would it?...

Orianna's mixed blood proved to be unintentionally troublesome as she started to learn fairy spells. Not the human magic she learned, oh no, but her blood. If she was lucky, the spell merely fizzled out. Far more often, it went awry and had different effects, or blew up in everyone's faces. Some fairies started requesting that at least Orianna leave their home, a few of them also wanting Ruhan banned because he brought her.

As such, the queen and king of those particular fairies were brought in to see what could be done. It was decided that she would be taught by a fairy from another group that lived in a faraway valley. Word was sent to this fairy immediately and within a week the fairy arrived. He was a handsome youth named Fahru and he specialized in teaching fairies who's magic was difficult to control. Immediately he set up a special area away from the fairies main place and began to teach Orianna. At first it was a struggle, but she slowly learned the way of the fairies

it's amazing how rain sounds ...we don't get it much so it is noticeable when it does rain. Especially when it pours.

Rain pitter pattering on the roof is so relaxing. Plus the feeling in the air outside right after it rains is so peaceful
