haha I've let my parents buy me boring but useful things too. I haven't gone to see my family yet but I'm leaving soon. My mom already said that my SO and I are getting money. My brother is getting me art supplies. My grandma sent me a big box, not sure what's inside it. I think it might be all our gifts from her.

Of the Stars I know thank goodness for practical parents! They never buy me anything crazy or unnecessary. I know it might be kind of lame to get socks for christmas but hey if you need socks you need socks lol! And nothing wrong with a little moolah in your pocket! Are you an artist? And pooh there's nothing like surprises!

My grandma got me a ton of socks last year or the year before which was nice cause I kept forgetting to buy myself some. I try to name stores I'd shop at because gift cards seem a little nicer than money but I think it's just easier for her to give cash. Yes, I like to draw. I'm working on a webcomic. This avatar is named after it. ^^

Of the Stars I feel the same way, I always prefer and ask for gift cards because it seems weird to ask for money but money is what people always wind up giving me And that's cool! Do you have any links for it?! Would be neat to see what you're working with!
