Aw, your pets are so cute! Sad to hear that one of them passed away. That's always hard. :<

My family had pugs and they'd trip us up all the time. Spanky and K'Ehyler(two of the four were named after Star Trek characters) would constantly be under my moms feet. Fortunately there were no bad accidents.

I'll have to track down the picture my dad took of him over Christmas.

He doesn't like hugs. ^^; He only tolerates them from my s.o. and I.

Your dog can complain all he wants, but I'm hugging him in my mind.

I always wonder how a dog will turn out when you mix a larger dog with a smaller one. I saw a picture of a husky and a smaller dog mix once and it actually was so cute!

corgi/dalmatian

but I think it's cruel because they're making a healthy breed (dalmatians) get characteristics of an unhealthy one (corgis with their poor short paws :< )

I was under the impression corgis were pretty healthy, and dalmations were not. Corgis might have short legs, but they are so powerful! My coworker has a corgi and she can pull harder than a german shepherd and jump to my head height, so crazy for a little dog! I am not sure if it causes them pain later in life, but the legs are short so they can herd cows without getting killed by kicks.

As for dalmations, heres what I could find with a very quick search. http://www.border-wars.com/2013/05/why- ... wreck.html

Ah, I didn't know dalmatians had the purity issue as well D: that sucks. I know other short legged dogs have issues (basset? is that the name?) with their spine mostly.

also lol @ "Pure white animals (and people) have more neurological problems than dark-skinned or dark-furred animals, because melanin, the chemical that gives skin its color, is also found in the midbrain, where it may have a protective effect. You see all kinds of problems in white animals. "
