We have inside skating rinks here - do you not have those there? But we also have outside paved paths/trails and rinks here too for inline skating. Are you good at it? Do you ice skate too?

saw this on the news: "German authorities are evacuating around 50,000 people from their homes in the northern city of Hannover while five suspected aerial bombs from World War II were made safe for removal."

I never really thought about it because it was so long ago but I imagine there are still concerns about past weapons buried. Hope that's not why you had to leave your place...

Oh yeah we have a LOT of bombs still buried. They are being defused whenever we find one. A few months ago one was found a few streets from my student dorm. There's always a big evacuation, but as far as I remember they were always able to defuse it safely so far.

And yeah, I never heard of inside skating. We usually do it outside. And I'm pretty good at covering distances with inline skates, not so much at doing tricks and stunts. And ice skating is just like inline skating, except you're doing it on ice. I can do it, but I prefer inline skating.
