Your profile says you're in Belgium. Please excuse the assumption because you're located there, but do you know Hercule Poirot? Is he popular there or is he just really famous outside of Belgium?

Ah yes i do know him, he's a character by Agatha Christie if i remember correctly. He's some sort of a detective, i don't know a lot about it though^^

Oh, Poirot is the best! Yes, he's a detective in Agatha Christie's series of books. I think he's (the stories that is) better than Sherlock Holmes. He has a lot more character (impossibly quirky!) than Holmes. What can I say, I like quirky!

Ahh that's nice! i don't read much (sadly) so i don't really know much about literature, i wish i could make more time to read and stuff!

The whole series has been made into a TV show that ran 13 seasons (I think). There were several movies made of specific stories too over the years. Poirot has been played by 4 or 5 different actors over the years. The latest movie just came out last year (2017) MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, starring Kenneth Branagh, Johnny Depp, Judith Dench, and Michelle Pfeiffer. So you don't have to read to enjoy great mystery story telling!
