Happy Graduation!!!! :cheer:

Do you get to take a break for a little bit or what''s the next step?

If you do a pin prick in the top & bottom of an egg you can blow the egg white and yold out and then paint the outside of the egg, that helps preserve the egg but unless you shellac the outside the egg will be very fragile...

@Lemon
i'm on break now!! been dealing with the nuisance that is becoming an adult i guess C": gotta set up some bank, insurance and learn how to cook and all that jazz
super late but thanks for the bday presents!! how did you remember my bday??
ohhhh but the eggs have to be raw when you do that right? that's so smart though
maybe if you painted glue on top it wouldn't break as easily?

I hope you did something special to celebrate your birthday!

It's good to learn how to cook ~ that way you won't ever go hungry! My Mom teaches a class to show kids from lower income families how to make meals from scratch ( using basic ingredients like flour etc to make their own...not premade stuff) to make bread or pasta, non jar sauce etc. She tells them they should never be able to say there is nothing to eat in the house so long as they have the basic ingredients.

It's nice if they let you redo a test ... is that what you meant by a remark?

making stuff from scratch takes so much time but it's pretty fun! it's good to know that you don't need a lot of money to be able to eat something nice ^^ i wished i learnt all this when i was younger tbh, i had so much time back them

remarking is when they send the assessments to another evaluator in ib so the assignments get another chance at being graded!

Well, it's never to late to learn to cook and there are a lot of cooking how to's out especially on the internet. But it is always fun to cook with a couple other people and chat and eat when you are preparing the food and of course taste testing can be a delicious part of it. I don't like cooking just for myself unless it is homemade soup or stew.

@Lemon
our kitchen is so small that whenever i cook with others we risk setting the house on fire LOL
you just reminded me of that one time i went to a friend's house for a sleepover
we woke up to make vegan smoothies at 6 am and at some point they threw in chocolate chips and i was like "those have milk in them??" and they looked at each other and shrugged
best part was when they opened the blender the wrong way and the entire smoothie ended up on the floor |D
i hope to get to the point where cooking isn't a disaster haha

No but like I know you can set the kitchen on fire when it's just you as well :cheer:
To be honest.... I can cook, but like.. everything tastes super bland to me because y'know-- you can add stuff in afterwards if it's not salty enough, but there's no saving an oversalted chicken.

You both are so entertaining!

I believe there are chocolate chips with no milk but if they are milk chocolate chocolate chips then yes and if they were true vegan's they would care so that is a humorous contradiciton.

But I really never understood the vegan's not eating a milk product, the lactating animal ( the cow, goat etc), needs to be milked everyday otherwise it is painful for them to be engorged and if you milk them and throw it away it seems a waste of food. Not all chicken eggs are fertilized either and the chicken lays it anyway so again, if it is not eaten it seems a waste of food. A vegetable plant like lettuce gives up its whole life and no one complains. It might not bleed but it is still alive. :wink:

Seriously though, we had farm animals growing up and when you see their personalities it makes it difficult to eat meat that you can put a face to. :cry:
