My nose is always running! My allergies are a constant companion.
I miss the sense of smell. T_T

If you are talking to me, please ping or quote me. I get distracted and lose track of what I'm doing easily.

have some hot lemon and honey to get things running, it will help clean you out and honey is a natural antibiotic supposedly

I hate stuffy noses, they make my head hurt : (

I have heard so many things about local honey! I wouldn't even know where to buy it though.
I'm so sick of medicine. blegh..
My mother in law told me some recipe to help with allergies. It sounds disgusting, but i'm desperate and just got paid.

1tsp cinnamon
1tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp honey (local)
boil it all together and drink a cup of it every morning and night for 2 weeks. Then once every morning after that until you don't have allergies.

They tell me all sorts of tips and tricks. I call it black magic... cuz my husband and in-laws are black... XD They think it's funny.

i've actually heard of the apple cider vinegar and honey as well. Maybe it is worth trying...can't hurt. But I still like the hot lemon and honey taste better then apple cider vinegar!

I'm working up the willpower to leave my house to buy the ingredients for that and sesame chicken.
Normally, going to the store is no big thing, but I have to get gas in my truck. I feel like putting gas in my truck is my most ranted about topic here on windlyn. HATE IT.

My mom used to try all these home remedies on me. Like when my toe got infected around the nail, she wrapped beets around it.

I got better, but I'm not sure whether it was the beats or nature took its course.

yep, more often then not it is just a matter of letting your body heal itself... rest and lots of fluids help with that too. I wonder how many of the home remedies actually help though...there must be some that have been passed down from through the centuries.
