No, my family came down to spend Valentine's Day with me and my sis by going out to eat at Golden Corral.
They're planning to come back down next Sunday for my birthday, lol. I'm planning to have us go to Olive Garden.

Yes, I do live away from home. Hoping to move out during the summer into an apartment. I'm practically 21 now and I need to get out of my parents's house and they want the same.

Cost of living is so much now that I am finding more and more people living at home for longer...but it is good to move out and have your own independence and responsibility. Puts you on a different level with the parents.But while you are going to school it makes it much easier to give home base your parents ( until you get a regular scheduled job and put enough money for deposit etc down).

Yeah, I just can't wait to move out so that I don't have to follow my dad's rules, and I know that sounds petty and childish, but I just can't stand some of his rules sometimes and having independence from him will allow me to do things on my own term, granted there are things I need to fix with myself, like becoming a clean person and cleaning up after myself more often.

I think most people can relate to that. We are meant to grow up and leave the nest. Although it seems to be getting continuously more difficult to afford to live on your own.Hopefully you can find some good room mates.

I wouldn't be able to live on my own if I wasn't with my boyfriend. Being able to do things around the house the way you want to do it when you want to, is so nice.

My sis is going to live with me because my dad is going to put it under his name so that my sis CAN live off campus. She doesn't fulfill any requirement by the university to live off campus, so my dad is going to trick the university into thinking we live with our dad when we don't. Unless something doesn't follow through.
