I went to LA for the annual pilgrimage to AX where we meet up with friends.

I'd like to go to the comicon in San Diego one day but apparently they sell out incredibly fast!

The thing I like about comicon is that it incorporates the science fiction shows that I like. I would totally go dressed as Star Trek!

Right, it's more broad in it's appeal. I've only been to anime conventions.

The detail people put into their cosplay is impressive, some probably spend quite a bit of money.

I've wanted to cosplay but I'm poor and sewing and buying a costume can be expensive.
