Yes, work can suck sometimes. It can be fun for a while, then start to suck.

I would love to be a Fashion Designer, but there is not really anyone around here I can shadow or anything. I would have to move to one of the fashion hubs of the world.

no, not necessarily, Npix. You could do some online training... or work in a clothing shop and make contacts with the buyers... I met someone who started that way...someone else I know makes her own clothes or redesigns stuff she picks up from the thrift store and sells them on etsy and ebay. She never took ANY training. My hair dresser ( well, so I get my hair cut once a year) crochets and knits bikinis and mails them off from etsy and ebay too. They take her next to no time to whip up, overhead is minimal and she gets paid big bucks for them.

You can do it dragoness! Start off simple. Look at what you CAN do. Resewing old sweaters into sweater jackets is becoming popular over here. Go to the goodwill outlet ( warehouse before it is shipped to their stores) and you can pick up the best stuff.

My coworkers friend goes to the thrift stores - finds $200 brand name jeans and stuff but pays maybe $20 max and then turns around and sells them online!I never know what to look for but she does great.

Yep, otherwise, it would be nice to have a desk job at like, a hotel with not too much activity, so I can sit and read or be online most of the day while "working". ^_^
