that reminds me of the song; Wouldn't it be Good. by; Nik Kershaw. all about a person who wants to live like someone else, the classic Prince and the Pauper story. look up the song, it's good.

Someone on another site mentioned how much Windlyn avis look like Tinier Me's avis...
Here's a version of mine I made with a dream avi creator that's still up:

The english version of TinierMe is closed, but the Japanese version is still up and running. I don't have an account on the Japanese one because I can't read Japanese.

But, yeah.

Maybe that's why I felt so drawn to this site, it reminded me of TinierMe. I still miss that site sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I still love this site's avis. Lol. These are better than TM's in my opinion.

My parents are going to come down either this Sunday or next to take me out to eat. I'm going to Olive Garden.

I'm off on my birthday (:D) and I might go treat myself by buying me something or whatever.

How about people in your dorm building? Isn't there a main area to hang out in?
Set a goal for yourself to just start saying "hi" and give a little smile or just give a little smile to people as you pass by. That way you can ease into working up the courage to say more. There are many in the same boat as you!

My roommate introduced me to her friend..... I couldn't get any words out I got so scared. Lol. She only did because we were in the living room area of our suite working on a personal project and her friend was over and were getting something from the shared fridge.

so how do you greet your customers that come into the store? You are required to say hello right? Just treat them as a customer, except without saying "welcome to subway"... I guess you could just say "welcome". Or at church, don't you say "nice to meet you" ?

So, if you can't get words out you give a little smile and nod your head in recognition. They might then ask you a question and you go from there.

The old "Hey, how ya doin' today" works wonders when you see people you pass again and again in your travels during the week. Most people smile or say something. Then some will ask you how you're doing too. Do this a couple of times when you recognize people and a conversation will start up soon after.
