I stay up until 2:00 AM on days off because I work the night shift on the days I'm working.

do you ever feel like the inconsistency makes you tired all the time? i had big differences in my last semester and sometimes i'd wake at 5:30 am and sometimes i'd wake at 11am and i'd be so drained every day C":

I'm tired basically all the time. Though I think that was the case even before the job

I don't think you ever told us, what hours your shifts are. I know it's a night shift, but don't know what that means other than after 6pm and before 6am? Just trying to get an idea. :)

It's tough working those kinds of hours. I think it sucks the life out of you when you don't see enough sun for long periods of time. :(

i'm kind of the opposite haha, there was a period of time where i was only awake for 2 hours of sun but i was thriving
but for some of my morning friends they'd probably suffer

My guess is you were at home rather than going out to work? I can see that being OK since you're comfortable at home.

I worked a job where in the winter you'd drive to work before the sun came up and drove home after sunset in a building with no windows. It was depressing... I'd even call it claustrophobic... but I suppose some people would be OK with it. Different strokes for different folks.

On a related note, I recall reading recently that humans evolved with two types of people (day and night people) because until fairly recent history (last few hundred years), a portion of any group of people would have to stay up all night to keep watch (so animals, etc., wouldn't come in and kill everyone). Maybe you're on of those! I'd feel safe with you on watch all night! <3

You're not wrong haha I love being at home but I also went out in the night~ I think it's way better in HK because it's a city and it's really bright and busy all the time, but I can see why someone would get depressed in rural areas C":
You didn't have windows?? Were you on a motorcycle? That does sound really melancholic though

Ohhh that makes sense! The morning person and night owl theory prevails :cheer: haha watch me in the day time or i'll get eaten by bears or something
