Then I have a half day for Christmas Eve, and I get off Christmas Day.

I have to work Christmas eve and New Year's eve most years (unless they fall on a Sunday)

I could ask for my birthday off but working on my birthday allows me to celebrate with my customers - I bring in cookies and sweets and make it a party and get to share with whoever comes in. Then generally I go out for a family dinner and sometime in the week go for lunch with friends. I make the whole wee a celebration!

Lemon Cheesecake: That is really sad. :c I think people should have off 2 days for a holiday. Especially where I work. I know some parents are just dropping off their kids because they don't want to babysit them all day. I don't understand why some parents have kids. /holds head

That is pretty awesome! I didn't do anything special when it was my day off...because they made me come in the next day. I literally had one drink (It was my 21st birthday!) and went to sleep early. It was a very sad birthday. I was better off just going into work. I doubt there's going to be anything done this year. I'm not really known amongst the staff, nor do I have my "group of friends." I'm kinda just a floater tbh.

The mainly problem is my birthday being on a holiday, so a lot of my friends already have plans. That, and I'm more of the type to just sit at home and hang out on the internet. xD I'm not a very social person.

My birthday is a sometimes holiday.
This year is going to be epic though because I am turning 26 on the 26th of November which is also Thanksgiving day! -dances-
I prefer being social online myself. Only a handful of friends now and those are from work. I have not kept in touch with my friends from middle and high school. -sad- I have them friended on Facebook, but neither they nor I send any messages or such.
