*Nods* When we were petting sitting a German shepherd he managed to get the couch filthy. Don't really have a problem with my dog but he doesn't really get on the couch unless invited.

It wouldn't really matter considering it's their couch.
No one sits on it and it's kinda just for them

They are :P
I went to the beach earlier this morning and we met some people with a huge German Shepard that was twice the size of my bigger dog and the owners only said that he was 8 months old
Huge dog!

I wonder if there is a trend for people to get smaller dogs now. Does your beach limit what hours you can take dogs there?

We have one section of beach where the dogs can run around, go in the water etc and another part when you can only have dogs early morning or evening and they need to be on a leash. Generally the dogs have to be on leashes in public areas.

My dog has a couch to himself, actually. And a chair, but I steal it from time to time. xD

I miss the beach; I haven't been to one sine i was around 10.

Known, a drop, unknown an ocean.

I wouldn't want to go to a beach with dogs... I bet it'd smell of wet dog xD

I live kinda close to a beach (Not walking distance but a short drive away) an it's not really something special to me... I don't like swimming..

It doesn't really smell like wet dog... Just salt and sand

I don't mind dogs at parks or beaches so long as the owners pick up the dog poop so that I don't step in it - especially when it gets hidden in the sand.

It's a joke here, that when something smells odd it smells like 'wet dog'.

wet dog is pretty stinky though! Especially when the wet dog gets in the car and that soaks into the seats!
