well, if you have a lighter school load you can get a part time job. I did babysitting then reception work on weekends for some extra cash. Retail places are looking for holiday help and sometimes they will hire you for summer too if they like how you did.
well the thing is. i dont have an id. which i need to get a job. and i need my birth certificate to get an id so i can get my job (and many other things) my mom has no idea where it is :/
well you will need a birth certificate and social security to work and to get your drivers license so you can apply for the birth certificate first - now they want you to have the updated ones anyway. You need it to if you decide to get a passport. If you don't want to get a drivers license then you can get a ID card at DMV and that will allow you to register at college or apply for a job. You can look it up on line for your state and have your Mom fill it out and sign.
Sometimes you have to do all of the legwork for the P's to know you're serious. Like in this case get the forms and fill them out and then you'll just need to get your mom to sign them. I seem to recall it only took one form, but it may vary from state to state.

I understand. I learned the hard way that you (as in yourself) are the person you can most rely on in life. A lot of the time you will be the person that gets stuff done for you--as in you have to take care of/be responsible for yourself as an adult.
yeah ;v; ive been sort of realizing that as i go, but its still a scary thing to realize ;v; especially when you can barely rely on yourself most of the time already
Yeah, it can be scary, but it's totally awesome to be the one calling the shots! Having been through the various stages, adult is by far the best. Small steps and you'll ease right in to it!
