I have the same problem with my mind being so busy I can't sleep at night sometimes. I think everyone suffers from this one time or another. Nevertheless, you'd be surprised that if you get up anyway no matter how tired your are and after a few days, you'll fall asleep no matter what you're thinking about. You can't control a lot of things in life, but when you get up is one that you can. Embrace it!

Yeah, if my brain wants to allow me to hear my alarm, because I'm 95% sure I slept through the alarms, not hearing them AT ALL!

I mean, I got more sleep than the night before, there's no reason I should've slept through them.

Seriously, I almost ran over a group of guys who walked right in front of me as I was riding my bike. There was almost no time for me to stop, I almost ran into a fence, where the other side of the fence is a 1 story DROP. Gosh, college students are so dumb. (No offense to those here because I'm obviously not talking about all college students. I'm a college student.)

It's not just college students. I have similar incidents with cyclists too when I'm in a car! Reminds me of the George Carlin skit--there are two kinds of drivers; idiots and maniacs.

the alarm I have keeps getting louder and louder and louder - until I wake up to turn it off...do you have one like that?

Or set your phone to something extremely annoying for the alarm as well.

I have it set to my cd because the beeps makes me anxious and I'm already dealing with enough anxiety as it is.

I fixed it, though. Completely unset it and reset my alarms did the trick.

Well, a very HOT day here today - feels more like the middle of summer - ended up NOT having to go into work today so I got to sleep in which was nice...how is your day going?

My phone was at 20%... I sit it down, finish a video and grab the charger.
I plug the phone in and it says 100% battery.
I get confused.
Restart the phone and it comes back at 18%.
"That's better"

That was weird.
