Only thing that is saving us is the fact that this a dry snow so that means that is is lighter.

Yup. We have a generator and kerosene heater too. And we're stocked up on heat and eat foods. We're good. We deal with power going out (and snow) all the time here, just not about two foot of snow at once xD

I'm from the Caribbean... all we get is humidity and heat. D;
With snow I'd probably freeze.

OH MY GLOB SO MOM AND I WERE WATCHING CUPCAKE WARS AND THIS ONE DUO WAS MAKING SOMETHING ON THE STOVE AND THEY ACCIDENTALLY SET IT ON FIRE AND THERE WAS GREASE SO SHE PUT WATER ON IT AND IT FLARED UP AND THE CAMERA GUY WAS RIGHT THERE AND ALL SORTS OF STUPID HAPPENED BUT SHE WAS LUCKY TO HAVE NOT BURNED THE PLACE DOWN AND WE REWINDED TO SHOW DAD AND HIS REACTION WAS GOLD
