give the kid credit for being creative! Do they ask those kind of questions for real?

That was a real homework assignment. And as far as I'm concerned, that was a correct answer.

It didn't ask who ate more, but more precisely said Marty ate more pizza and asked how that's possible. And the kid's answer was possible.

Pretty sure the teacher misunderstood the question but still. The teacher is wrong.

It shows a lack in overlooking questions because the question didn't specify that the pizzas were the same size, so literally, given the information, Marty had a bigger pizza, thus Marty ate more.

Yep. Good answer from the kid. Bad question is the problem.

Exactly. It's like they didn't review the question hard enough to even think about whether the question makes sense or if there's anything wrong with the question. If the teacher's explanation for why it's wrong because it's part of the answer guide made by the company who distributed that question, there's something wrong. Because normally, teachers would have an answer key of sorts.

Darn, I let my want to learn how to play ocarina get a hold of my judgement and got me to buy this piece of crap ocarina, lol.
That's $7 I'll never get back.

never heard of ocarina - maybe you can find someone to play it with?

As for the $7 - a movie ticket costs more, so does lunch and they're not tangible so it isn't that much of a loss...is it possible you can resell it and get some of your money back?

The terrible sound quality didn't tick me off, it's more of the condition it was in. It was chipped and cracked and the package wasn't even damaged, so that company's quality control is crap.

EDIT:

As for what an ocarina is, here are some pictures.

Transverse (the kind I want to get and learn):

I know of a better quality plastic ocarina (better than the $7 piece of crap I bought) that's $25 that I plan to get eventually. I can at least practice the finger movements with the piece of crap and pretend I'm playing it.

Those are just a few.

On another note, it's 80 degrees.

Hot and humid and miserable.

oh, its an instrument ! Should have googled it first - if you received it damaged then you should be able to get a refund

I wasn't expecting much out of it. It's just $7. If it were like $25, I would consider a refund.

Don't trust Hobby Lobby for things like that, it's actually meant for kids and many people don't consider it legit, which, ya know, is pretty much true, considering it's cheap.

It was pretty comfortable to use, I thought it'd feel different. I can still make use of it, and there may be a way to patch it up.

Urgh

People are trying to give people reasons to vote for Trump.
So, apparently these celebs said they'd leave America if Trump wins....

BS!

And someone commented:
"Even if you hate Trump, this is a reason for you to vote for him."

Um, no. Trump needs to leave.

I don't care for those celebs and their empty promises. Trump needs to leave.

It is stupid to let a guy with no political background, who went into bankruptcy 4 times, be president. America's already in debt and who knows what will happen if Trump gets a hold of the reigns.

How stupid can people get? They're falling for whatever celebs say.

Similar things happened when GWBush was going for his second term. People said they would leave America if he won, he won and they're still here.

People are so gullible.

I think many of the things you list as negatives can be viewed as positives. (e.g. no political experience is a good thing when the political process is clearly broken - bankruptcy = using the laws to your favor if you assume that purposely going bankrupt wasn't his intention in the first place, etc..) But, yes. Threatening to leave the country isn't a threat really. Silly.

I still don't see how those things could be a positive thing. Especially the bankruptcy.

But yeah, if they can afford to leave the country, nobody's going to stop them. But that doesn't make things better anyway.

For me, as long as Trump and Hillary lose the election, I'll be good. Honestly.
