I am not happy


I have asked SEVERAL times to give me AT LEAST two days off in a row for the majority of the time so I can actually rest, but they keep flipping giving me one day off in a flipping row!

Like, I'm sorry, but, it seems you think I'm a machine who can work without rest, OR you think I'm a lesser life form that doesn't deserve a rest. Well guess flipping what, I'm neither! I'm a flipping human being who both needs and deserves a rest.

In fact, although i don't like to play this card, I have a disability! Meaning I have MORE needs than a normal human! I thought this was established when I got the job, but I guess I was mistaken! Because if it WAS established, then when I TELL you I need something a certain way, you would be making sure that need was delivered upon! But I guess I need to flipping spell it out for you before you get the flipping picture!

Like, nothing I say gets through to them! I ask for at least three days of work a week, yet a few months ago I only had two a week for three weeks! I ask for at least two days off in a row for at least the majority of the time, yet I'm constantly only given one! I ask to flipping work WITH my coworkers because it helps me go faster, yet I'm always told to work by myself!

Does nothing get through their flipping thick skulls!? Am I flipping talking to a brick wall!? Flipping screaming into an uncaring void!? What will it flipping take to get them to flipping listen to me!?

I've had it up to here with their crap!

Sorry to hear about your frustrations. Any chances of finding another job? Not that you'd move, but you'd have more leverage with the current one if you' tell them you've found another job. Either way it sounds like things can't keep going as they are.

Most of the time it's alright, but there's a lot of times where the aforementioned things happen. I was mostly reacting so negatively because I was tired from lack of sleep

I've talked to one manager about it now, and he said he'll try to keep it in mind, but that another manager also changes the schedule so I need to let that manager know as well




Side note, I almost tried to log in to here as windlyn instead of as npixelz!

A lot of jobs have bad management and corporations let it happen. Makes us feel like robots. I’m at a job finally that I don’t feel degraded, criticized, enslaved, etc. my past job gave me Trauma that was so hard to overcome.

The need for sleep is grossly underestimated. Every part of you needs proper sleep to operate. When sleep suffers, so does everything else. The downward spiral/cycle of stress leading to bad sleep, adding to stress (rinse, repeat) needs to be broken ASAP.
