I did find a couple times it was the cable I was charging with had an issue ...or rather I had twisted it and it would short out I think.

I cried for the first time at work tonight
One of the managers was being a big ol poopy head but one of the ladies I was working with was really nice to me about it. Everyone has problems with that manager so it's pretty normal.

Just a little reminder that even though you might not be having a good day, don't take it out on others. They might be having a bad day too.

I hate it when managers take out their frustration on people. People like that shouldn't be managers. I hope you're okay, Ali!

Sorry to hear about your bad day, Ali.

I suppose it's kind of good to know you're not the only one this person picks on.

There are certainly bad owners out there, but in my experience, there are far more bad managers by several orders of magnitude! The sad part is managers are more important to the actual functioning of the company or organization. What's even sadder is bad managers tend to get promoted rather than fired. I still haven't figured why that happens, but now that you're getting experience/building the resume', you'll be able to get jobs elsewhere if you choose. Options are good! :)

I'm sorry about the situation with your manager but I am glad to hear you have a co-worker who is understanding. Is there a way of reporting his unprofessionalism and abuse of power? I would keep a journal, and record the circumstances...if it becomes repetitive then you may have to go above him and report it. If others are having problems as well then they need to keep a record so you can support each others claims. If any one is present during the incidents record their names down as well as future witnesses. If he made you cry or you feel harassed then that needs to be recorded.

I hope that the manager has some kind of review done on him by his management, although sometimes that causes them to be feeling under pressure and push it onto those they are managing.

Maybe he will apologize to you!

Thanks guys, I'm much better now!

There's a fine line between what's considered reporting bad behavior because of bad behavior and being accused of making a report claim only because you don't like the person. However if it's insistent or something really bad happens I won't hesitate to report it.
