I get today off for Columbus day, which some people now call Indigenous people's day, with no pay because I'm supposed to use vacation pay for being part time (that's why they try to work you less then a 40 hr week). And its Thanksgiving in Canada.

I think my dad may have the day off too - he drove to see my brother yesterday, and I don’t think he was back last night.

I really like Thanksgiving! This year will be my first thanksgiving with the strict dietary restrictions.

Have to come up with a grocery list though and get some food...I'm getting hungry and there isn't much to choose from in the fridge.

I prefer crepe's to pancake's...pancakes get stuck in my throat like a glob for some reason, while crepes I can chew easier and they slide down better.... Are you able to eat crepe's Vivianne?

Crepe's go good with savory or sweet food toppings. More eggs, less flour...I don't add sugar.
