Oh nice! I thought when o said "we moved" you were talking about when you moved in with your grandparents... so that is very nice, I am glad you were able to get a place.

Do you get to decorate? Are you moving in slowly?

We were moved in with our grandparents around August. Stayed there till a few weeks in December
and then we moved into a duplex. Decorate? I am not sure what you mean.

We have been here for about 2 ish months now.

decorate probably was the wrong word to use...like paint walls colors you like, hang up pictures, arrange the furniture etc. pick out curtains...so that you make it comfy.

It didn't sound like you had moved all your furniture over yet so I was just wondering if you were fixing things up.

Haven't really hung pictures or anything.
Just have our calendar's up.

And we had a dresser but we got rid of it or didn't want to use it.
We plan to get a new one. We are planning to go to IKEA.
We are gonna get new dresser plus a desk and a comforter.

We have since we've been here for a while now lol.

Ikea stuff is awesome. I wish I lived near one or you could order though the internet and have it delivered....

Shipping is expensive from IKEA.
I live an hour away from one and they wanted us to pay $200
for a $75 dresser..

So we have to go there in person.

ohhh new things...nice!
That's insane for a delivery charge. They must have a minimum they charge and I suppose if you are an hour away you would be paying for wages for the delivery person there and back, unloading plus gas and wear and tear on the vehicle...

hope you have help when it comes to lifting and carrying the furniture

My dad will be there.
And I'll be helping.
We aren't going to be buying a huge amount of heavy stuff.

I don't think the desk or dresser are really that heavy since you have to build it at home.
