I've tried the ones with the yolk in them, not a favorite, but then I am not an egg fan. But moon cakes are very artistic...kind of too pretty to eat!

No problem!
I didn't like yolks when I was younger but I learnt to appreciate the saltiness with the sweetness of the lotus paste! My dad and I get double yolks for the large one because it's easier to get a bit of yolk in every piece

The moulds for the crust definitely take a lot of skill to make! I visited a bakery in Taiwan who's parents were wood carvers as well, and they carved a ton of really pretty wooden moulds (for ceremonial pineapple cakes)! It's pretty much the same now but I think people use tin moulds rather than wood because it's lighter and easier to mass produce~
