Have you got everything set so you can go to your parents? I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away!

I started packing up my clothes. I can't decide what to wear so I'm just bringing a bunch lol
Eagle went shopping yesterday or the day before and I got some things to eat while down there. I have the presents all in a gift bag so that's good to go. I want to wash a dress to wear on Christmas day and when I see my friends but I have to hand-wash it.

It seems about time for Christmas to me. But that's probably cause I don't have much going on.

Not sure if I have.

The roof guys never came. Got rescheduled to next week.
I had plans to see a couple of friends but I'm not feeling well. The one friend I talked to said they could come visit me.

isn't that how it always works, you get everything set up and there's a delay.

If your friend will come visit you then let them, at least you will get to see each other. It is so easy for friendships to drift apart with the business of life that it is nice to be able to take that extra time sometimes to refresh them. ( sorry you aren't feeling well, too much holiday activity and excitement plus the cold too much strain on the body?)

I'm back home. I already feel better just being here.
She talked about visiting last year but wasn't able to. Hopefully she'll be able to come over sometime soon.
It's tough when you older to get together with friends. We each move to different places, close but not close enough.

I think I was over at my brother's too long Christmas day. Not sure if I should have said something. Also had cat allergies to deal with which was horrible Tuesday but lessened after that. The cold weather doesn't help either.

If you know you only have enough energy for a few hours then just let people know you'd love to visit but you only have enough energy for said amount of time and if you start feeling poorly let them know you'd best be leaving, I am sure they would more then understand. No use you getting yourself exhausted and having a set back. Was there any way to take a nap there?

I was talking to someone about their holiday company bringing their animals with them for the week and they said it took 7 hours to clean the animal hair off of their furniture, out of the rug etc - and that was just from 2 small dogs!

Hey Watery, hope it feels good to be home! Are you and your honey just planning on hanging out at home and snuggling for the New Year?

Gingerale: I should have. My mom made it sound like we weren't going to be there long but I guess she was talking to my dog more than me. e.e I'm a little irked because I was tired the whole time. I don't know maybe I always seem that way so it's hard for someone else to gauge. I'll speak up sooner and make myself more clear next time.

It feels so good being home. I don't feel well but there's some comfort being home where I can be as comfy as I can be then some place else. Oh yeah, usually he has to work. He almost went in to work yesterday but I talked him out of it. This will be our first New Years together<3

awwww that is so sweet!

Is he able to eat much yet? Or still restricted diet? I suppose the incision area still is sore but it seems like they are able to go in and just make tiny cuts now rather then slice a person open.

While I was sleeping he decided to go into work -_-
I check facebook and he had posted "I think I went back to work a bit too soon."
I guess he's doing ok cause he isn't home yet.

He's eating fine, no dietary restrictions. He only has small cuts a couple places on his stomach. Basically he's fine just needs to be more patient with allowing his body to heal.

well, you got to give him credit for not slacking! Sounds like a dependable kind of guy, I hope his employers realize how committed he is and give him credit.

I hope you both can have a relaxing day tomorrow for the New Year.

He is dependable all right. He's taken the rest of the week off. I told him to wait until Sunday to go back.
We've been relaxing. Though he mentioned how tiring it is to walk our dog Cooper. He's ok now just wears him out.
