The one I had was more like a lemon marmalade.

I think I like the lemon pie that is more like lemon pudding or lemon curd (I don't know why they call it curd cause that sounds gross but lemon curd is so good on toast).

I will look for my no bake lemon cheesecake recipe for you Ryvvi - except it does take whipped cream and 8 oz of cream cheese and jello. do you have Jello in Australia? Hmm.. sadly maybe you can't have it then...? Must find a way to get a recipe you can eat...

i think your jello is our jelly~ and i could technically make mine no bake, because all that requires baking is the base
the biggest issue is space/money
id need to buy a dish and then yeah aaalll the ingredients
probably a bigger bowl too ;-;

jello and Jelly are different here. Jello is flavored gelatin, and Jello is actually the brand name, oops.

Jelly is jam and that would only work for trifle. The gelatin helps the cream cheese and whipped cream set in the no bake Lemon cream cheesecake.

the pie base is no bake, it's just ground graham crackers, butter and sugar (graham crackers are what we make smores with so I think you have them, I guess you could use ground ginger or lemon cookies if they were the hard ones) pressed int o a pie tin.

maybe our jam is your preserves? It is basically fruit and sugar with pectin. It can be cooked but I like freezer jam (fresh strawberries mashed up and sugar and pectin added).

I have only made trifle with cake, whipped cream, jam and sometimes vanilla or custard pudding. Wonder what it would taste like with jello...

Ryvvi, what do you eat with scones? Or is that only an English traditional food?

tbh i just usually wait until i have to go to work and grab a bun or muffin before work xD
then on my days off i realise i have no food so i have to go back into work to buy some xD every time i intend to get like proper food except then they have like pre cooked wings that are delicious and then if i buy proper food then i need to do the dishes and ugh
so i just buy iced coffee and some microwaveable meals thatll last me until my next work day :lol:
