Yikes. -hugs Gizzie- They do need to give people breaks though when needed. My feet often hurt from standing all day.

dragoness, so that would make it difficult to get work...any starbuck's around? If they are going to hire illegal immigrants then they should hire citizens first!

Gizzie!? You wouldn't make it where I work then...I get no breaks because we are always busy (well, once in awhile I do but not regularly)...what about working in a library?

This one is actually paying pretty good.
There is an Aldi and a Walmart, but I already know Walmart won't hire me with my background. I've tried three times already.

Hope you can get disability Gizzie, it would help and relieve some stress.

ugh, that sounds awful Gizzie! The work and the gout - I think diet can help gout...it is very painful I hear to walk on. Does your hubby make enough for you to live on? Not sure what your cost of living is over there but ours is pretty high here.

house repairs cost a lot too! We have a leaky roof and its the worst rain fall in California history!! Plus upkeep, but I guess we have the option of investing in our own home. If you can save enough for a down payment by putting a bit into savings every pay check you can eventually make it.

And we do everything on foot no car, or depend on rides that tend to flake out

Yeah, it is no fun at all.
Thankfully my mom lets my husband drive me to and from work. I really need to get my license sometime though.

I am 27 with no license. I have not been in a wreck, but driving still terrifies me.
