pet cams are really helpful! I have coworkers who have a bunch of rabbits and when they went away on a long trip, they were able to see that the sitter never came in to feed them! The sitter then lied and said they did feed the rabbits, but they had video proof of it, and their neighbour checked and found the key wrapped in the hiding spot still. :o
It certainly can be helpful but a little while ago a relative of mine went away and set up some camera in his house. He saw the sitter getting a little comfy with her boyfriend on the couch and then literally kicking the dog outside but he didn't tell the sitter about the cameras and that's a thing that could get you into some trouble here.. Well I mean.. The reason this relative split with his girlfriend was because of his dog. He loves his dog more than anything. Not in the way I love my puppy, no. He loves that dog likes he's married to it. He basically spent his whole time over seas watching his dog through his phone. I don't know if anything happened about the camera because I only hear what I can when I eavesdrop on my dad but from what I know, my dads not talking to him because he's annoying
ohmygosh...! Well, the sitter was hired for a job, she really shouldn't have been doing other things in some one else's house -! Time for a new sitter! (But yeah, he probably should have declared the fact there were cameras)
Hm, I think you should act a certain way when you're at someone else's house, especially if you're hired to help in some way. It's a private residence and I think the owner ought to be able to have a camera recording if they deem it necessary. That is, for those working on the premises. If you ask your roommate to watch your pets then it would be weird for there to be a camera because you both live there. When I've pet sat in the past I just imagined there were cameras even though there most likely weren't any. lol I dunno maybe I'm odd.

Yeah I mean, like if there's a camera and you pick your nose and the person that employs you comments on that that's kinda too much... but in that case, very odd.
In less weird news(or more weird), my sister bought a cake for her dog but it was actually for humans. It was an excuse to eat cake, but it had her dog's face.
