Same here i have a hard time understanding jokes,sarcasm and irony due to having Aspergers too.
But i do understand some kinds of jokes. Especially the funny thing in hitting a guy in the crotch with a football shot.

It's OK! I get some jokes. And some sarcasm. My husband and one of our best friends both love to be sarcastic. So I've gotten better.

Ooh and thick rimmed glasses. I usually wear black ones with a color on the inside or sides. But I want a green or purple pair next.

My glasses are light and thin titanium ones.

Ooh cool! I have to have plastic glasses. I'm allergic tk most metals except sterling silver and gold. And I have a heavy prescription so thin glasses can't take my lenses

I have to have light glasses because otherwise i get wounds on my nose.
And my prescription is also pretty heavy i think?
-5.5 diopters i think it was or something?
I'm not sure tho maybe i have things confused?

Ah so you get your lens thinned then. Ingey plastic ones with no nose guards just the plastic to protect. I keep trying to get my husband to get a pair as they are easier to clean.

I wear glasses also. I'd wear contacts more often but they're a bitch to put in. I'm getting LASIK when I'm old enough and have money for it.

Yes. I know many people who've had it done and they're all very satisfied with the result.
