I was in Home depot the other day picking up some flower bulbs & they had gigantic Halloween decorations.

some people around here really go all out with the decorations, sound affects etc, and even the halloween lights.

sounds like you will have quite the display Npix ... how far in advance do you set them up? Or do you just do night of?

Ayyyeee, your family is going all out this year! All of those decorations sound fun, especially the singing dog xD (I went to a Y2K party last month and when that song came on I had a blast singing along). A few years ago, I drove through a random secluded road and stumbled upon this house that had amazing decorations. The entire yard and house were fully decked out, and what stood out were the human-sized zombies placed throughout the yard creating an apocalyptic scene. I couldn't stop to take pics, but I wish I did.

I hope so, too!
Nah, I'M going all out, lol. That sounds like such a great house!

There were big ones at Walmart, too!
Yeah, j love those houses
I don't recall the past, but I know we don't usually do it that early. This year, though, I'm planning it to be different

Indeed!
Camping trailers, but luckily I didn't have to go!

Instead I watched the first 3 Jujutsu Kaisen episodes with my sister!

Watching shows with your Sister sounds fun!
Does your family plan on doing a lot of traveling, Npix?

Ye
It seems so. I've heard talk of Prince Edward Island, Mexico, Florida, and a few others I've forgotten. Some with all of us, other with my parent's friends.
Also my dad bought a new truck to tow it! Big money was spent this week!

I'd like to do a trip to PEI, got some great great grandparents that lived there at one time...came across in 1800's ... plus Ann of Green gables stories were from there.

Cool, Npix.

I think I liked the Megan Fellows "Anne of Green Gables" t.v. series best... but the show was a Canadian series I believe.

My older sister is so behind on Jujutsu Kaisen, and my younger sister won't watch it. I'm the only one who's caught up. @-@ How are you liking it so far? :3 And wow, your family's got a lot of plans coming up!

Speaking of Anne of Green Gables, I remember seeing the books around, but I've only ever seen a few episodes of the animated series.

Yee
There was a show!?

It's good! A little more gory than what I usually like, but it has a compelling story!
Yes we do!
The books are great

Ugh, I have to do so many chores everyday!

I notice some similarities between Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen, but Chainsaw Man is gorier. I didn't think I'd like the gore, but it's actually kind of rad. o-o

Oh no, can't the chores see that this is your break time? D'< What kind of chores do you have to do?

I don't like the gore in Kaisen, but I'm not too affected by it. What I don't like is all the bad things happening to people. ><
Ikr!? Last day was a lot, but yesterday was none, so that was good. Today I chose to do the baseboards. In the upcoming days I'll be doing the decorating!

Speaking of which, what is everyone's favorite decoration you put up every year? This question is for any holiday

Decorating will be fun. :3 Does your family decorate inside the house for Halloween, as well?

I don't really put-up decorations, so I can't say I have a favorite. Last year I put up a mini Christmas tree and the year before I placed a pumpkin on my porch for fall (until the squirrels devoured it). I'm still not fully moved into my apartment, so decorations haven't been on my mind much. ^^;

I guess back at home my favorite decorations are the Christmas tree ornaments that my great-aunt hangs up. She has ornaments for the years my sisters, cousins, and I were born, so it's fun seeing them and reminiscing. She even still has some of the ornaments we made back in elementary school, and that's pretty touching.
