Sometimes too much of something, even something good, is not a good thing.

I cut apples into bite size pieces. It hurts my jaw to eat an apple without cutting it.

We didn't usually cut up the pumpkin as jack o lanterns ( I think because my Mom was worried about the candles in them) but my Mom would cut up the pumpkin & make pumpkin pie. Sometimes she would roast the seeds but we had to shell them ourselves after she did.

I love apples (preferably green), but I don't really like apple-flavored things that much (except certain candies and what not). The smell and taste of apples and cinnamon together used to make my stomach feel queasy, and I'm not that big of a fan of apple pie. The only one I can tolerate is the one from McDonald's. @-@

Danger was probably a factor, but looking back rotting/freshness was probably the issue. Never did the candle thing.

Yep, apple pies can be hit or miss, which is funny because it's the most basic common pie!

Ahhhh, concerns of rotting makes sense. :'O

I remember watching Paula Deen (or some woman on the cooking channel) making a mile high apple pie and feeling sick to my stomach while watching. @-@ This is like the final boss of all apple pies.

Another case where while some is good, more may be better, but there's a limit!

Wise words
Sameeee
I don't think my parents have ever made a pumpkin pie from an actual pumpkin, I think we've only ever used pumpkin stuff from stores

McDonald's apple pie is SOOOO good!

Makes sense!
Lol true

*nods*
I like to eat, but I couldn't eat a slice of a pie that big!

True true!

Question; what classic Halloween monster is everyone's favorite? Mine is vampire
Also can you guess who my avi is?

McDonald's pumpkin and cream cheese pies are also pretty good, if I remember correctly. I haven't had one yet this year, but I'll hopefully get one soon.

Hmm, that's a good question. I'd say maybe a ghost, mummy, or witch, but I've never really thought about it. I'm not sure who your avi is, to be honest. Is it from an anime or a movie?

I didn't know those existed, now I want one!

Good choices there

It's Mavis from Hotel Transylvania!

Got new shoes today, and wore socks when walking, so no more blisters!

Oohh, cute! I had to look her up, but your avatar looks so accurate!

Your old shoes caused you blisters? Along with not wearing socks, were they too tight?

Thanks! Yeah she's my favorite vampire
Only recently, when I walked to 3 places without socks on. They were already damaged, so it was time to get new ones. And nah, they were pretty well fitting

Forgot my therapist appointment today. She had to call me lol

Ohh okay, that makes sense! How do you like your new shoes?

I see a few of the dentists at my job wearing Hoka shoes. They look soooo comfortable and I'd like a pair, but I can't justify paying over $100 on shoes right now.

Good thing she gave you a call! Therapy is so important and I'm sure she was probably looking forward to hearing how you're doing. :3

You guys should definitely get McDonald’s pumpkin pie when you have the chance. I got one on my way home from work, and it tasted so yummy! It was nice and warm, which paired well with today’s chilly weather. =w=

Ye. They're pretty good so far!
Yeahhhh
Ikr! Yeah, I hope she was, since I at least always enjoy it!

I might have to ask for it then! Maybe closer to Halloween when my mom is less strict about eating healthy!

I have to remember to wake up on time so I can call my bus and ask if they do social events again. During Covid they didn't. I'm hoping to see my friend on November 4th

I know someone who bought the Hoka shoes & loves them ... but a little pricey for me ... I wonder if they come on sale?

Pumpkin pie at MCDonald's ??? They also have the Halloween buckets with the kids meals right now too! Maybe I need to make an exception & go pick me up some!

Wahoo! Time with friends is always wonderful, Npix.

Oh yeah, Black Friday and Cyber Monday will be coming up soon for the holidays! I wonder what the prices will be then? :'O

The car in front of me ordered a happy meal and got one of the purple buckets. The happy meal toy right now are Pokémon cards. I think that's pretty cool!

Is there anything specific going on on Nov 4th, or is that just a day that works best for you two?
