Hurricane Patricia just made landfall an hour ago in West, Mexico if I'm not mistaken.

According to the news, its a Category 5 Hurricane equivalent to a Super Typhoon just like Haiyan that devastated my country two years ago.

Scary though...
Hope they are all safe in Western Mexico.

Its sad that after all these big developments in medicine and technology that so much damage can still be done by natural disasters. Hope everyone near to it is safe~

Yeah I agree with you Ryvvi.
Though we can also say that this is a man-made natural disaster because of global warming.
Warm sea conditions are perfect breeding grounds for Hurricanes/Super Typhoons.

Am hoping friends that went to Mexico for a wedding were ok. Someone else I know was in the Bahamas when they had their hurricane and their boat just made it "ahead" of the storm. He said the call came to get back to the boat as quickly as possible so that they could leave the port early and get out of there. The waves were still really high and they were bouncing around quite abit but nothing compared to what destroyed the tanker who did get caught in the storm.
