on this planet there are many unsolved mysteries and many things yet to be discovered left behind from ancient times. We now know that there were civilizations of humans around 5000-6000 years ago. Those civilizations left behind records for kings who ruled for a very long time (we're talking tens of thousands of years for the oldest of kings).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sumerian_King_List

You can check out a translation of the list but the cool thing about it is that it's written in stone by the Sumerian civilization and it's still kinda well kept and should be available in some museum.

I wonder if their aging was similar to the Methuselah tree being alive for so long? The bible does say that people lived for thousands of years back then, but the calendar has changed through time so who knows whether their year back then equaled our year today? I believe the Lunar year is shorter then our Gregorian calendar year. But I would think the day was still 24 hours.

I would hazard to guess that there are ancient civilizations at the bottom of the oceans.

Guys, what I'm about to say might sound unbelievable but there is a lot of evidence to it and although it is not for certain it most certainly is reasonable. If you want to take a look into this interesting thesis you can check this presentation that is really well presented and it shows information that you can all go and look for if you want to - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DEAzA6TNR0

It is interesting research and if you want to have a look at it :)

First of all they are known to have had amazing insight to the solar system which we only live to confirm after exploring it further and further.I am not that familiar with the exact details for the calendar but it was based on the movement of the planet in the soalr system, positions of the stars and the alignment of earth - moon - sun.
Their numeric system was based on 60 (we most commonly use numeric system based on 10 to do math) so it goes like 1 to 60 and then they calculate by times 60. Does this look familiar? 60 seconds in a minute. 60 minutes in an hour. 2x12x60 minutes in a day. 2x12x60. Close to 360 days in a year. There's a lot of reading about it and I'd like to read and learn more about them but those systems seem to have remained since ancient times. (I'm just speculating here but I'd like to look into the possible connection)

The more we read out of the millions of stone/clay tablets the more we find out that the biblical stories we read in the Holy Bible, have been a very limited and somewhat mistranslated version of the stories that we read in those tablets.

There were actual giants that lived at that time, which might be explained scientifically as well as with written texts with testimony and depictions of humanoid life forms far bigger then the rest in the same pictures and it's possible that they had different life span because they were different species and were refereed to as the Holy ones or the lofty ones.

Based on the stories left behind, those kings were called Anunaki (Anu - heaven or sky / na - to / ki - earth). They came from the sky flying and created the people using science (people who like these theory consider it genetic modification to enhance other species into becoming more like them).

There were also the ones called Igigi who are not mentioned too much because they were watchers and they were not interacting with people too much. (Common they is that they were watching from the heaven/sky/orbit).

In classic archaeology, things that did not fit the commonly accepted theory were either labeled as religious nonsense or were locked away so people cannot see them. If scientist take a look at those things, they find it fascinating and totally worth looking into. I'd like to keep an open mind and see what we may find out in the years to come.

We are not sure. What we know is that there's a whole lot more evidence supporting that theory then the one provided in the Holy books. We know that the genetic modification doesn't necessarily exclude Darwin's theory.

We know that there is a place in South Africa that the shamans there refer to as "Adam's calendar" and they claim that the first human was created there.

We know that the Anunaki referred to the working race as lulu amelu (primitive worker) And the first was named Adamu.

We know that the symbol that the one who created that Adamu is a long rod with two lines (or snakes) or sometimes referred to as the serpent of life and wisdom is the symbol for medicinal studies even now and people can associate the two swirling lines with the way DNA is depicted very easily.

I really like how that guy says it: Does this mean that it's the way I say it is? No, but it certainly is something we should consider and think about because the evidence doesn't make sense with the commonly accepted theories.

Are you sure we know...?

It's an interesting theory regardless.

Then there's the theory that we're all living in a simulation... :grin_wink:

wow, lots of info to digest and to research. I honestly have not heard of it but I do believe that there is found archaeological info that was not shared publicly. I do believe different cultures have similar stories because historically they went through the same/similar events ( such as the world flood) and I tend to believe a lot of history got covered and buried by the flood.

The garden of Eden is generally accepted to be somewhere in Africa and Goliath was a giant ( although were the average people smaller and so the giants appeared giant?) We do have remnants in giganticism seen today, (people over 7 feet) as well as dwarfism, so who is to say? I just don't totally accept the knowledge the scientific community says as fact.

I may have it wrong, but I heard that our DNA is a "noah's ark" of every living thing.
