Kroger also has deals where you can buy 3 or 5 of items & get a discount. They don't have to be the same item, just any that are part of that deal. And you can combine coupons with them.

So, for example, when my classico spaghetti sauce comes on sale for $1.49 a jar I buy a bunch. (normally $3.99)

I got 3 large cans of beans from a coupon deal. I think it's the only time I took advantage of a sale like that. @-@

Next time I go grocery shopping I'll have to look around and see what deals I can find.

Things have been okay. Not really the best, but I'm getting by. I've been healing from a heartbreak and have been trying to adjust to my new life as a cat mom. I adopted a kitten last month and although she's a lot for me to handle on my own, I love her so much. She's technically my emotional support animal and I appreciate having her in my life while I'm trying to heal.

I volunteered at a convention in July and I'm hoping to go to a convention next weekend if I can afford it. Just as an attendee, though, not a volunteer. :3 The semester started up on Monday but surprisingly work hasn't been busy. I'm all caught up on my tasks and it's only 10:56 AM. xD

Breakups are always hard. They're all traumatic. Was this your first or first serious one?

Although it didn't feel like it at the time, having my heart broken made me a better person, which in turn made me a better partner. It sounds rather cold, but I believe that the overwhelming majority really need to have their hearts broken in order to appreciate and understand love IMHO.
