I think the recommended age for having the procedure is around 25 because your vision doesn't worsen as rapidly at that age.

I am old enough for LASIK (I'm 29) but I don't want it. It won't help anyways.I have a mild form of macular degeneration.

And ,25? Hah! My vision has gotten worse since then! Lol ooh and I don't do contacts. When I was 6 my 16 year old cousin sliced open her tear duct and had to go to the emergency room when she messed up putting her contacts in.

I pinched my eyeball trying to take my contact out one time and it sufficiently creeped me out not to put them in again for a while. I have astigmatism so my contacts are more expensive.

Sorry! Macular degeneration means that my eyesight gradually gets worse as I age. Malnutrition means that I don't get enough vitamins put of the food that I eat. And I have Crohn's disease which is a disease where your immune system decides that the good bacteria in your intestine (also called ProBiotics) are bad and attacks them! It causes joint swelling, scarring in the intestines, also swelling, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and extreme abdominal pain. I had to get a foot of my intestines removed in March because of scar tissue

I have an astigmatism too. Had to wear an eye patch as a little kid to correct a lazy eye too.

It is! I had 2 surgeries this year! In March I was in the hospital 2 weeks! And I had to get a colon pouch. And that got removed in June and I was in the hospital for a week.
