Around here there are lots of notices about seasonal hiring - maybe you can find something up where you are Maro that will help bring some money in to carry you through? The little one is in school now right ? So that should help alleviate finding day care at least. I think most places train you on the cash register and some medical/dental offices look for temporary help even for just a few hours a day. Plus Dental offices will hire "chairside " assistants, no experience necessary other then a willingness to learn and dedication to do a good job. One office I worked at hired a high school student just to do sterilization and another to do filing and answer phones. You obviously have computer skills so that is an asset! In fact even the Postal service there should be looking for help right now and they train.
The good thing about the younger kids is that they can find pleasure in the simple things - like a box you make into a fort or castle....and the churches and communities around here have Christmas wish trees that you can adopt a kid to give a present to or donate toys. I know Canada use to have a toys for tots program. Don't despair - get signed up on one of the programs. Get your resume out there and someone should give you a chance!
