Just as npixelz said, they're retiring ash's journey in the upcoming anime and going with a completely new protagonist. I like the new designs a lot and I'm excited to see where it's going to go! Hope the companion pokemon are just as cute T_T

I would've liked to have seen Ash's children or grandchildren following in his footsteps... difficult to do when he stays 10 forever!
