No one is hiring temp around here, looked into that. I might have some leads to cashier jobs but it's still doubtful tbh. The job market around here is pretty bad.

I think it's just pretty bad all over. Unless something new opens up down here or someone has done some very major stuff to get them fired, they are all basically filled orz. Still, I might get lucky. Maybe. Hopefully. I need some cash so I can help pad my BA costs that is coming up.

I applied for seasonal at target and nothing
I think it's cuz of night hours and they want day shifts

Hence why I really need to get my webcomic launched. It might not be as much as a minimum wage job, but way better than nothing

I've applied for seasonal at Walmart. Housekeeping at the nursing home. Cashier at IGA. Going to try my luck with Save-a-Lot and a few other places.

Half the jobs here require a license
I only have a permit and we only have one truck anyway so transportation is gone be tough

Yeah same here. Still have my permit and only one working truck atm. I have mom's old one but it needs new tired and brakes and a bunch other stuff done to it that can only be done when I get a job :I

But, yeah, still have a permit too. Mom's willing to work with me as long as I get a job in Jackson. Lo and behold there are none :I

Mom insists that I need to get mine adapt cuz I turn 21 at the end of next month and that's when my permit expires

Ah. Yeah I'm working hard on mine so it would be easier for people to hire me.

Can't you get it renewed? I just have to go in and pay like 7$ for them to issue me a new one. But you probably have different laws where you are :'D

Lately it's the main thing. Have contacts in there before you have the job and you're more likely to get it .__.
