Your strength, determination, amazes me Vivianne!
We are all going to die sometime, we could get in an accident tomorrow, we don't know when the last time will be that we see someone, do something so best to live each day to the fullest. Sometimes I think people given a terminal verdict make the best of the time they have left, they prepare themselves to go, at least that is what I have found from friends who have had cancer and lost the battle. But what a horrific realization to have to deal with. To have treatment, to not have treatment. To go home and live out the last days or stay in the hospital, Someone must have encouraged you and gave you a direction to try and overcome your diagnosis, Vivianne.
Mouse, leaving not knowing if you will see someone again is very difficult and your Grandma sounds like she wanted to prepare you. I hope you got some good moments together, if just sitting holding hands.
