Akuyi: the black dress is from the Halloween event and the vest is from Christmas I think. The Paris background was from the Valentine's event, there is a night and a day background.
Mousy and I have done our avatars to show respect and to honor the people killed, wounded and traumatized, in the tragedy of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, not sure if anyone else has. (I was inspired by Mousy's avatar yesterday).

The news showed that the eiffel tower remained dark to honor those killed. I switched my background to the day image today.
So very sad and scary, how do you know who to trust... some of the people injured/killed were students eating at a restaurant! Do we need to be suspicious of any one with padded clothing or carrrying a back pack or big purse? If the terrorists do not want to be part of the rest of the world why don't they just isolate themselves in a place, a commune, put up a border and live their life a part - like the Mormons and Amish and other ethnic groups have done.

Well, look at history ...most recently the Nazi's in world war 2... how do people allow themselves to be blinded to the truth and allow those atrocities to happen? Hmm, Korea is in a similar situation where the country is split and people in one half are suppressed and propaganda keeps them from seeing any other view...even when it means dividing them from family and friends and causing them to live in near poverty situations.The newer generations are raised not knowing any different and the older generations are too afraid to speak up or act against it. I guess fear really does over rule common sense. So sad.
