I'd like to see what all this Discord stuff is about but just recently a few kids in my year got suspended for being caught doing really bad stuff on it. Apparently my whole year had it's own group chat with about 40 people on it.
I don't really know what it is though..

Um... discord is a bit like skype, except more accessible with a web format.
It's a server that has text channels and voice channels, and was originally for gaming. So you could get a bunch of people with similar interests in one server, make several text channels and voice channels, and goo!

Text channels would be a bit like.. a different chat room. Voice chats are well... voice chats.

If you were playing a game. There could be like 3-5 general party voice channels, 1 general voice channel, 1 raid voice channel and there was some integration with games and twitch I think on discord.

Then there could be an announcement text channel, general text channel, afk channel, and some locked off channel for guild officers or something.

The people you meet depend on the server and the purpose of the server. I use mine for karaoke, so it's got welcome, general, song-requests, bot-channel.

Then it's got voice channels for karaoke, general, karaoke practice, and away.

Yup, discord itself wouldn't be the problem, but whatever a server or group does might be.

It all boils down to whether you use something for beneficial gain or you ruin it for everyone else by abuse or irresponsibility...

I've heard that before... many times before actually So true, probably why I don't have nice things, I don't take special care of what I've got! Anything of value I have packed away so it doesn't get broken.

UGH, the weeds are every where and now they are starting to seed so that means it's weed picking time.

Or make enough money so you can hire a gardener. gardens are pretty, but lots of work. But so is grass lawns.

but I do love having gardens, my flowers are bulbs etc so they come back every year (if the rodents don't eat them) and I'd love if I could have a vegetable garden! Growing veggies in the containers hasn't been too successful for me. But fresh picked veggies are absolutely delicious!

I know people that would prefer to just live surrounded by concrete and not worry about bugs and dirt etc. Guess that is why there are cities!

I'm not interested in concrete, but I do prefer to not have dirt in my house, yeah. I like wood floors and wood desks and nice painted walls and air conditioner, to heat and humidity and mosquitoes.
