and miserable
At the same time!!!!

Me and bugs and camping and outdoors geeeh. Don't ask me hiking when it's super hot or there's a lot of mosquitoes out. If it's super cold I might be willing, but definitely not if it's super hot.

I'm surprised your apartment allows pets, you are very lucky! Around here it is difficult to find a place that allows pets (other then renting a house or owning your own place)

But we told our landlord that we had the first one, and when he realized that the place didn't smell he said it was fine.

hmmm seems to me service pets are usually allowed - maybe make one into a service pet?

Ya, the main concern I think is that the litter box doesn't get cleaned or the animals pee on the rugs/furniture and that is EXTREMELY difficult to get out!! It seems to permeate into the wood structure of the floor. But there is a good spray the hardware store sells if that ever happens.
