What do you teach?

I teach 5th grade science and social studies, but at that time it was our "enrichment" period. On Monday's, I make them read for the enrichment period because most of my kids went the whole weekend without opening a book.

[Sanchicho]

I don't think I ever had that on 5th grade.
Speaking of enrichment, I should start my 26 page enrichment reading for AP English.

[Ryvvi]

Whats enrichment period? :S

[Mousy]

you're supposed to be doing something that "enriches" the students lives......
My school has decided that this means service projects and who knows what else..
So, we've written letters to people that need letters, made placemats for a food bank, talked about safety on the internet, and whatever else the principal decides to email us to do.
BUT~
This is only for the students that don't go to extra math or reading tutoring. The math and reading teachers pull about 10-15 kids to tutor during that time and usually it ends up with me babysitting the rest of the 60 that is split up in our 3 classes.
Mousy does not like enrichment time. Mousy especially does not like enrichment time because it makes her be at school at 7:30am. Mousy also doesn't like the idea that math and reading get tutoring time, but science does not.

Sanchicho likes to talk in third person.

Now Sanchicho is going to talk in third person for a while.

Mousy accepts Sanchicho.
Mousy thinks that Sanchicho is wonderful and is curious as to how Sanchicho is doing today.

Sanchicho also thinks Mousy is wonderful and he is doing well today. He just finished his essay.

Mousy is wondering what Sanchicho's essay was about and how he thinks he is going to do on it.
Mousy is doing well today. She took a nap and now she believes she can take on the world, but Mousy keeps browsing the internet instead.

[Sanchicho]

Sanchicho's essay was writing about a topic in Huckleberry Finn and an Op-Ed article. Sanchicho thinks he will do okay on it. It was kind of difficult for him to write it.
Sanchicho also gets distracted with things on the internet.
