yeah! there are times when someone is wanting like a price check and grocery doesnt answer calls im like dont even worry about it just take it~ but you can always spot the ones who are out to exploit the system/being rude for no reason

and fil yeah~ the community is small but so much more positive than other sites

You'd probably hate me Ryvvi- I do price checks if I think they didn't come up right! Or I ask the cashier to scan the price for me and then decide I don't want it!

that doesnt worry me! like if its coming up the wrong price ive no issue getting it checked~ just if you make the customer wait thats not fair on them so

most customers are polite~ its just that the rude ones stand out T_T

After the give everyone everything free manager left, we got a new one that was no nonsense with that stuff. The community hated her at first bc they didn't get away with their manipulation, but we loved her bc she actually backed us up!

If I can do self checkouts, I will. Everytime. Real people interaction? *shudders*

Self serve is no better sometimes! "what do you mean if i take a bag off then put it back on the machine doesnt magically know its the same bag?! This machine is stupid (as they make the same mistake 5 TIMES IN A ROW)" aka: way too many people dont know how scales and technology works

actually, I've wondered how the machine knows if you scan and pay for something or forget to < fail to>?

I hate when it keeps repeating to me to put an item on the scale...what if I'm looking for the bar code? What if the barcode isn't scanning? No, I much prefer to have someone assist me.

self serve kiosks are taking away our jobs -!
Although the ones at walmart have 4 spaces you can check out in the same space it seems that just two cashier checkouts take up. So I could see a maximizing of space thing going on.
